Authenticity Guarantee & Commercial Terms

Aththa Kithul guarantees that every bottle of treacle and block of jaggery distributed under our brandmark is derived 100% exclusively from the pure, unfermented sweet sap of Caryota urens (Kithul palm), harvested by master tappers in Sri Lanka's Central Highlands.

• No Added Cane Sugar: We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy against sucrose adulteration, cane sugar boiling, or glucose dilution.
• Zero Chemical Preservatives: We add no artificial colorings, thickening agents, or synthetic additives. The viscosity, rich amber color, and smokey wood-fired aroma are achieved solely through traditional slow-reduction in earthenware hearths.
• Generational Integrity: Our extraction methods honor the traditional knowledge inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (Kithul Madeema).

All retail pricing displayed across our catalog is denominated in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR):

Wholesale volumes, institutional hospitality allocations, and export tier pricing are customized based on order size, phytosanitary requirements, and freight parameters, provided via formal Proforma Invoices.

Orders placed via our website inquiry system or official WhatsApp concierge are processed with dedicated care:

• Fulfillment Window: Standard domestic delivery within Sri Lanka requires 2 to 4 working days from order confirmation.
• Shock-Resilient Packaging: Glass bottles are insulated with corrugated protective packaging to prevent transit damage during domestic courier transit.
• Inspection on Delivery: Customers are encouraged to verify parcel seal integrity upon handover. In the rare event of transit breakage, notify us within 24 hours for immediate courier replacement.

For international retail partners, boutique importers, and overseas Sri Lankan diaspora communities:

• Compliance & Certification: Aththa Kithul export consignments are packed in hermetically sealed, temperature-resilient glass bottles accompanied by batch documentation and Certificate of Origin upon request.
• Customs & Import Duties: Import tariffs, customs clearance procedures, and local value-added taxes in the destination country are the responsibility of the importing party, unless explicitly included in CIF quotations.
• Transit Resilience: Palletized export air and sea freight are subject to strict moisture and thermal barrier packaging standards.

Because Aththa Kithul contains zero artificial chemical preservatives:

• Store sealed bottles in a cool, dry pantry away from direct tropical sunlight.
• After opening, maintain the neck of the bottle clean and ensure the hermetic cap is sealed firmly. Refrigeration is recommended in warm or humid climates to preserve optimal floral aromatics and shelf life.
• Natural sedimentation or micro-crystallization at cooler temperatures is a hallmark of genuine, unadulterated botanical syrups and does not indicate spoilage.
